Clinical Research Platform

Clinical Research Platform, Bangladesh”, a tripartite initiative of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), British Medical Journal (BMJ) and International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b). Aim of this program is to create a strong institutional  platform for strengthening research collaboration with internationally recognized experts from the three internationally well reputed academic institutions. Specific scopes of the agreement include facilities and share of knowledge and experience, help conduct clinical research training, organize workshops and scientific seminars and help prepare research protocols and conduct scientific research. It also covers help to write research grant and raise research funding, and finally help to publish and circulate papers, periodicals, books, publications and other literary works. Overall this network will explore all possible avenues for building capacities of the local researchers and clinicians for generating evidence through state high quality clinical research.  Research evidence generated from the collaborative efforts across the three internationally reputed institutions would be expected to contribute in  saving  more lives, particularly  the poor and create a milestone for the next generation  researchers for facing the unforeseen health  challenges of the next century.
